The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section gather the answers to the most common questions we receive about the Master in Business Administration at Unihorizontes and our goal is to facilitate your understanding of how to enter in the Master’s Program.
1) Do I need to complete a Postgraduate Lato Sensu courses (MBA or Specialization) to attend a Master’s degree?
No. To attend the master’s program, you must have completed an undergraduate, bachelor’s or technological course. You can take a master’s degree without having previously taken an MBA.
2) Do I need an undergraduate diploma in Business Administration to attend a Master’s degree?
No. Business Administration is characterized by being an area of multidisciplinary knowledge, which interacts a lot with other areas. We have students trained in various areas such as: Business Administration, Economic Sciences, Accounting Sciences, Psychology, Engineering, Law, Nursing, Social Service, among others.
3) During the Master’s program, will the classes be in-person?
Yes. Our Master’s is in in-person, with classes on Fridays from 6:15pm to 10:15pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. During the pandemic we are conducting classes remotely, but we will return to in-person classes as soon as authorized.
4) How long is the Master in Business Administration?
The Master’s program lasts for 24 months and ends when the student defends the dissertation.
5) Is the Master’s Degree at Unihorizontes recognized by Capes?
Yes. The Master’s in Business Administration at Centro Universitário Unihorizontes was recommended by Capes – Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, according to Official Letter 201/2005 CTC/CAPES of 08/24/2005. Currently, more than 700 masters have been graduated at Unihorizontes.
