Qualification of supervisors

The Master’s Program Faculty has the title of Doctor and presents academic production, according to the regulations of the Collegiate and approval of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research at Centro Universitário Unihorizontes.

The Collegiate of the Master’s Program is the responsible for the accreditation of the supervising professor, regular scientific production and capacity for training human resources. The accreditation process is done in the form of full advisor (master’s and doctorate) and specific advisor (master’s).

The accreditation of the supervising professor meets the following criteria:

– Have a Ph.D. or D.Sc. degree and be the coordinator of a research project approved by the Collegiate;

– Demonstrate technical and scientific capacity, by publishing at least 03 (three) scientific papers in journals classified in QUALIS CAPES and papers presented at important scientific congress for the Administration area, both considered the last 03 (three) years.

The accreditation of the advisor professor in the modality of full advisor must meet all the criteria of accreditation of the specific advisor modality, adding that the full modality requires that the professor has at least 03 (three) years of completion of the doctorate and has already completed at least 05 (five) orientations. The supervior accreditation is valid for a period of 03 (three) years.
