MASTER IN ADMINISTRATION

Curricular Structure

The curricular structure is organized to provide theoretical and methodological support to the projects associated to the lines of research. The student must complete a minimum of 30 (thirty) credits counting from the beginning of the course, being 24 (twenty-four) credits in compulsory disciplines and practices (compulsory and optional) and the 6 (six) credits related to the dissertation development. Credits are distributed as follows: 8 credits in compulsory disciplines of the basic module; 6 credits in elective disciplines of the general management module; 8 credits in elective disciplines in the concentration area module – with the possibility of 2 credits in academic and professional practice activities (research, social project, business administration or teaching and tutoring experiences); 6 credits in special task (dissertation development); and 2 compulsory credits in research experience.

The Research Experience can be evaluated in up to 4 credits, being 2 credits related to the experience itself and 2 additional credits, provided when the article is accepted for publication in journals qualified by QUALIS as A1, A2, B1 and B2, upon proof of the acceptance letter. The student can perform an academical and professional practices, whether in Teaching, Business Administration, Tutoring, Research and Social Project experiences as an elective discipline which means 2 credits in a total of 8 credits in elective disciplines.
