CNPq

The CNPq, an agency of the Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Inovações (MCTIC) has as main duties to promote scientific and technological research and encourage the training of Brazilian researchers.

Created in 1951, it plays a major role in the formulation and conduct of science, technology and innovation policies. Its performance contributes to national development and the recognition of Brazilian research institutions and researchers by the international scientific community.
