MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Infrastructure
The Master’s Program works in an exclusive area of 450 m². In this area are located the individual rooms of professors; classrooms; laboratories; students’ study rooms; rooms for scholarship students; Secretary; Program coordination room and living space.
Professors’ Rooms
Each professor in the program has a 15 m² furnished room with a personal computer connected to broadband internet, wireless network and specific software.
Undergraduate Scholarship Students’ Rooms
Scholarship students have exclusive space to develop their activities in the Research Centers, in which are available computers connected to broadband internet, wireless network and specific software for the development of research activities.
Master Scholarship Sudents’ Rooms
The Master’s students have a 30 m² room with computers connected to broadband internet, wireless network and specific software to accomplish their research activities.
Program Coordination Room
The coordination room is located beside the Secretary, in order to make easy communications and the organization program’s activities development.
Master Program Classrooms
The Master Program has 04 classrooms with 40 m² each, properly equipped with multimedia equipment, broadband internet, wireless network and conditioned air conditioning.
Laboratories
The Centro Universitário Unihorizontes has 4 laboratories in the Santo Agostinho Campus, where the Master Program is located. Beyond the 107 computers available to program students, the laboratories offer varied computer resources such access to local data network, high speed internet access and specific programs for quantitative and qualitative data analysis (Atlas TI and Nvivo, for instance) employed for professors and master students in their research activities.
Specifically, at the Santo Agostinho Campus, the laboratories are:
Laboratory 01 – Exclusive for Master’s students
Masters students from Centro Universitário Unihorizontes have this laboratory equipped with 8 sets of workstations, containing the following configuration: Windows system with Office application suite – Core I5 3330 processor; – motherboard model B75; – 4 GB DDR3 RAM; – HD 1 TB; 17” LCD monitors. In an exclusive machine, two specific software are installed that support teachers and students in the development of research, namely:
a) Nvivo: Qualitative data analysis software;
b) Atlas TI: Data analysis software, whose main characteristic is interactivity with the most diverse file formats.
Laboratory 01 is located at the Santo Agostinho Campus, on the 4th floor, in a specific area for the Unihorizontes Master’s Program.
Laboratory 02 – Shared use
The entire academic community of Unihorizontes has free access to this laboratory, located at the Santo Agostinho Campus, which offers 27 workstations. The computers have the following configuration: Core I3 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, Windows Operating System – Microsoft Office 2013; Standard application suite and LibreOffice application suite.
Laboratory 03 – Shared use
The entire academic community of Unihorizontes has free access to this laboratory, located at the Santo Agostinho Campus, which offers 27 workstations and research. The computers have the following configuration: Core I3 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, 18.5” LED monitors, operating system, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 Standard application suite.
Laboratory 04 – Shared use
The entire academic community of Unihorizontes has free access to this laboratory, located at the Santo Agostinho unit, which offers 21 workstations and research. The computers have the following configuration: Core I3 processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, 18.5” LED monitors, Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft Office 2013 Standard application suite.
