Lines of Research

The master course is organized in one concentration area, Organization and Strategy, and two lines of research:

LINES OF RESEARCH

Power Relations and Organizational Dynamics

The line of research focus on power relations in social, organizational, functional, group and individual dimensions, analizing new business and organizational arrangements. The researches address the institutions as a social, technical, cultural system and work management, notably on topics such as interorganizational relations, symbolism, subjectivity, identity, trust, gender and diversity, skills, leadership, organizational behavior and new agendas in this field. The studies focus on the perspectives of private companies, cooperatives, NGOs and the public sector, beyond cooperativism phenomenon and society.

The line of research is subdivided into thematic axes which constitutes areas of the Postgraduate Program that comprise research. For its turn, each axis is composed of themes, researches and guidelines, and students’ dissertations must be linked to themes related to the thematic axes.

LINES OF RESEARCH

 

Strategy, Innovation and Competitiveness

The line of research focus on development of studies concerned with strategy, marketing, competitiveness, entrepreneurship and global market context. Thus, the themes to be investigated involves, generally, governance, financial and marketing management, sustainability, organizational performance, relationship with the market and internationalization, as well as new business environments. The studies focus on the perspectives of private companies, cooperatives, NGOs and the public sector, beyond cooperativism phenomenon and society.
