RESUMO O trabalho exerce papel central na vida humana, proporcionando a construção da identidade e dos vínculos sociais. Na aposentadoria, essa condição deixa de existir e pode desencadear manifestações de ordem orgânica, psicológica e social, com repercussões importantes na estrutura psíquica dos indivíduos. Este estudo teve por objetivo identificar e descrever os impactos biopsicossociais vivenciados na aposentadoria por profissionais aposentados de um banco múltiplo privado. Em termos metodológicos, a pesquisa, de abordagem qualitativa, caracterizou-se como descritiva, realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com 13 sujeitos que se encontravam aposentados pelo Instituto Nacional de Seguridade Social (INSS) entre um ano e cinco anos, todos residentes no município de Belo Horizonte. Os dados foram analisados com base na técnica de análise de conteúdo. Quatro categorias foram definidas previamente e diversas subcategorias emergiram na etapa de análise dos dados. As categorias foram: valores do trabalho e centralidade, manifestações orgânicas, manifestações psíquicas e manifestações sociais. Os resultados revelaram que os sujeitos pesquisados experienciavam o trabalho como um ponto central em suas vidas, traduzido por senso de utilidade, prazer, satisfação, orgulho e desejo de permanecer trabalhando na instituição mesmo após a aposentadoria pelo INSS. Foram apontados ganhos na saúde física após a aposentadoria. De outro lado, alguns revelaram dores musculares, insônia, situações de estresse e aumento do uso de bebida alcoólica e de cigarro. Os sentimentos associados à aposentadoria retratam a vivência desta fase, caracterizada como um tempo de inutilidade e improdutividade associada à velhice. Nesse sentido, após se aposentarem, os sujeitos procuraram outras ocupações ou mantêm esse desejo. Por fim, no campo social evidenciaram-se a redução do convívio social e a dificuldade com a administração do tempo em relação aos afazeres cotidianos.

ABSTRACT This work plays a central role in human life, providing the construction of Identity and social links. In retirement, this condition ceases to exist and can trigger organic order demonstrations, psychological and social with important repercussions in psychic structure of individuals. This study intended to identify and describe the objectives and biopsychosocial impacts experienced in retirement of retired professionals of a private multiple private bank. In methodological terms, research, qualitative approach, characterized as descriptive, conducted interviews medium semistructured with 13 subjects that were retired by the National Social Security Institute (INSS) between one to five years, all residents in the municipality of Belo Horizonte. All the analyzed data was done on the basis of the content technique. Four categories were previously defined and several subcategories emerged in the data of the analysis stage. The categories were: work values and centrality, organic manifestations, psychic manifestations and social manifestations. The results revealed that the surveyed subjects experimented work as a central point in their lives, translated as sense of utility, pleasure, satisfaction, pride and desire to stay working in the institution even after a retirement from INSS. Gains in physical health were pointed after the retirement. From the other side, some revealed muscle pain, insomnia, stress situations and increased use of alcohol and cigarettes. Feelings associated with the retirement portray the experience this phase, characterized as the feeling of worthlessness and lack of productivity associated with old age. In this sense, after retiring, the other subjects sought occupations or maintained that wish. Finally, the field showed up a reduction of social gathering, and trouble with the administration of the time over daily affairs.
