RESUMO

Este estudo está centrado nas reflexões acerca das mutações sofridas pela educação ao longo dos tempos e do aparecimento de um novo perfil para o profissional requerido pelo mercado. Considerando esse cenário e a exigência de novas competências, faz-se necessário pensar e mapear quais seriam as competências profissionais adequadas ao ambiente a partir de um dos atores envolvidos no processo, o docente de ensino superior. A pesquisa objetivou descrever e analisar as competências do docente de graduação de administração na percepção de alunos e professores de duas instituições privadas de ensino superior de Belo Horizonte. Nessa investigação procurou-se identificar as competências do docente de graduação de Administração; descrever e analisar essas competências e comparar os resultados entre os grupos investigados, identificando traços comuns e díspares. A metodologia desenvolvida nesta pesquisa foi de natureza descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa sendo utilizado um estudo de caso. Foi desenvolvido um estudo empírico com 30 alunos formandos e 20 professores do curso de Administração, sendo 15 alunos e 10 professores de cada instituição pesquisada a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e da técnica complementar de análise de desenho. Os resultados apresentados mostram que o docente de graduação frente a tantas mudanças deve levar em conta a capacidade de lidar com incertezas, com vários desafios. O cenário atual exige que seja ressignificado o perfil do docente de graduação de Administração. Ele deverá conhecer e participar dos processos decisórios, alinhando o Projeto Pedagógico do Curso – PPC, o Projeto de Desenvolvimento Institucional- PDI e o Projeto Pedagógico Institucional- PPI. A vulnerabilidade deste profissional exige mudança de comportamento. Configura-se neste momento um professor se deparando com inúmeros desafios onde o principal é conciliar todas as atividades exigidas pela função. Ao assumir a docência, o indivíduo se depara em seu cotidiano com atribuições, barreiras e pressões que irão desafiar constantemente a sua capacidade.

ABSTRACT

This study is centered in the reflections about the changes suffered by the education along the times and of the appearance of a new profile for the professional applied by the market. Considering this scenery and the demand of new competences, it is made necessary to think and mapear what would be the professional competences appropriate to the environment from one of the actors wrapped in the process, the teacher of superior teaching. The inquiry aimed to describe and to analyze the competences of the teacher of graduation of administration in the perception of pupils and teachers of two private institutions of superior teaching of Belo Horizonte. In this investigation there tried to identify the competences of the teacher of graduation of Administration; to describe and to analyze these competences and to compare the results between the groups investigated, identifying common and dissimilar aspects. The methodology developed in this inquiry was of descriptive nature, with qualitative approach when a case study used. An empirical study was developed with 30 pupils and 20 teachers of the course of Administration, being 15 pupils and 10 teachers of each institution investigated from semi-structured interviews and of the complementary technique of analysis of drawing. The presented results show that the teacher of graduation in front of so many changes must take into account the capacity of dealing with uncertainties, with several challenges. The current scenery demands that a modification the profile of the teacher of graduation of Administration. He will have to know and participate of the decisional processes, aligning the Pedagogic Project of the Course – PPC, the Project of Institutional Development – PDI and the Pedagogic Institutional Project – PPI. The vulnerability of this professional demands change of behavior. A teacher is shaped at this moment coming across countless challenges where the principal is to reconcile all the activities demanded by the function. While assuming the teaching, the individual comes across in his daily life attributions, barriers and pressures that will be going to challenge constantly his capacity.
