RESUMO O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar se os professores aposentados da rede privada de Belo Horizonte tiveram seus benefícios afetados pelo Regime Geral de Previdência Social – RGPS. Trata-se de um tema importante, pois, verifica-se que a contra reforma não tem se mostrado um retorno aos processos de revolução passiva, de mudanças positivas, mas sim, da criação das condições para um efetivo protagonismo das classes subalternas. Assim, procurou-se responder sobre quais foram os reflexos que as mudanças ocorridas no Regime Geral da Previdência Social ocasionaram nos benefícios dos professores aposentados na rede privada, na cidade de Belo Horizonte. Para tanto, a metodologia de pesquisa adotada foi o estudo qualitativo, usando como unidade de análise, os colégios da rede privada de ensino. A população alvo deste estudo foi composta pelos professores aposentados na rede privada de ensino e a amostra foi constituída por 15 sujeitos que responderam à entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado. Os resultados alcançados mostraram que os reflexos que as mudanças ocorridas no Regime Geral de Previdência Social ocasionaram nos benefícios e na vida dos professores aposentados na rede privada na cidade de Belo Horizonte foram negativos, uma vez que, depois de aposentados, muitos deles têm que continuar trabalhando para terem uma vida digna.

ABSTRACT The objective of this research was to investigate if the retired teachers of private schools in Belo Horizonte had their benefits affected the General Scheme of Social Security – RGPS. It is an important issue, because, it appears that the against reform has not been shown to be a return to the processes of passive revolution, of positive changes, but yes, the creation of conditions for an effective role of the lower classes. Thus, we sought to answer questions on what has been the impact that the changes that have occurred within the General Scheme of Social Security have resulted in the benefits of retired teachers in private schools, in the city of Belo Horizonte. For both, the research methodology adopted was the qualitative study, using as the unit of analysis, the colleges of the private school network. The target population of this study was composed of the retired teachers in private school network and the sample was comprised of 15 subjects who responded to the interview with semi-structured. The results obtained showed that the reflexes that the changes that have occurred within the General Scheme of Social Security have resulted in the benefits and in the lives of retired teachers from private schools in the city of Belo Horizonte were negative, since, after retired, many of them have to continue working to have a dignified life.
